A sweat lodge ceremony is an ancient sacred ritual for connecting with the Earth and all its living beings. The ceremony has a powerful, purifying effect on body, mind, emotions, and soul. It opens the heart and can unlock the door to our inner voice. It offers the opportunity for self-discovery and transformation. It bestows strength and clarity for everyday tasks. What a gift to us! I lead the sweat lodges in the tradition of "Sun Bear," which is taught within the Bear Tribe. A sweat lodge ceremony is a sacred ceremony. I offer it for all genders together, or for women only, or as a parent-child sweat lodge ceremony. A sweat lodge can be celebrated at seasonal transitions, for personal rites of passage (birthdays, weddings, life transitions, etc.), to address issues in a sacred way, and for healing.
